Two of these were hanging out at a local pond. Lots of activity out there right now: white pelicans, comorants, woodpeckers, and all the herons and egrets.

Is the OOF reflection in the BG distracting?

Cool capture and excellent exposure. The water droplets are a nice bonus. I find the dark band running through the center of the image a bit distracting. Thanks for sharing Aidan.

I agree with Judy and Ed regarding the dark lines. Could probably bump up the saturation on the beak as that is the main area of interest.

Cool pose, details and eye contact. I agree that the dark band is distracting and might raise the color temperature a bit.
