Taken in Spitsbergen in 2005. What a trip that was, Jasper, Bart Breet and I were there photographing birds and reindeer. At the beginning of the last week over there we got a phonecall about a den of arctic foxes nearby. And so the last week was spend with these amazing animals.
Here the mother brought in a fresh snack, a Barnacle gossling, with this as a result. They were gnarling and screaming at each other. Quite a sight!

I love this image. They are so small, yet seem equally matched in their fierce dispute over the gosling. Wonderful head angles and poses on all three and an excellent exposure. The eyes are so well lit and the low perspective makes this a compelling image. Wonderful capture.

A compelling image for sure..... Love the low angle with a strong comp for these subjects. Congrats on this one.
