Snow falling on the redwood grove behind my house during a snowstorm last winter. I'm not sure if i have everything balanced as it should be. It looks OK to me. All CC appreciated.

Alien Bees 800 set to full power
Bogen 3021 tripod w/ 3055 ballhead

OOPS! Forgot to add lighting conditions were it was pitch dark as it was about two a.m.

.... two am !!! What light you had was fairly even Agree on making it into a card. Might tweak the greens for more saturation and lighten the redwoods (slight) Great feel Fine image !!

This reminds me a pointilist painting. Very nice Chris. Alien Bees?...a type of flash or strobe?

Alien Bees are a studio flash.They are a prosumer grade flash that has a lot of popularity with people wanting to get into studio lighting with a reasonable price for pretty decent quality. Do a web search for their site. There are some pretty nice images of people there.

Thinking back I may have used two AB 800s. I was trying a variety of combinations that night.
