A male tiger staring at me, shot from an open jeep in Bandhavgarh NP, India. Canon 400D, 70-200 F2.8 IS, 1/500, F2.8, ISO 200.

As you only have the front half of the tiger I would try a crop just behind the front legs and balance it by cropping the top & left by half the current amount.
Great capture, the tiger is looking at you with one thought "LUNCH" ;)

Thanks Pete! Do you mean something like this?

Yes :). That looks a lot better (my opinion)
Balances out the image :)

Fully agree with the crop Does show better balance and love seeing the larger in frame head !!! Excellent eye contact !!!

Really like the cropped version. A wonderful opportunity and a fine capture.. Might bump up the saturation a bit as well. I really need to get over your way and soon....

What an amazing opportunity! The cropped version looks great. I also think that you could saturate this a bit more.

Beautiful stare and with a 70-200! I agree that a crop just behind the front leg would work better but I might not have come in so tight elsewhere... looks like sharpness might be an issue on the tighter crop.
