During last winter's Yellowstone tour we found this bald eagle during a heavy snow. I tried to make an artistic presentation of the eagle..

Canon 1D2. EF 600mmF4IS, 2X, Gizto & Foba, ISO 320, 1/400 @F11

Dale, I like the idea behind this and the comp you chose, although I would have prefferred just a little more room on the right. The Eagle looks like one cold and lonely bird.

.... and you managed to do so !!!! I like the crop as presented and feel Any other presentation wouldn't have given the effect !!! Big Congrats !!!

Dale I really like the composition and the idea of showing the surrounding environment but I agree with Jim about a little more space to the right. I do think it would strengthen the image. Lovely image !

I like it as presented. Since it is such a great image, I would take the time and go carefully around the edges, cleaning the tiny things out of place, like the branch tip in LL.

I get cold just looking and the artistic presentation works for me. A nit is maybe a little more on the right
