I shot this friday morning before I left Bosque back to snowy Michigan. Had a rough trip around Bosque as things did not seem to work out. Had two flat tires thursday just by the sign on Hwy 1 at 5 am and finally got help around 8:30 to get things back on the road to Socorro and get 4 new tires. Art's Bosque site pdf helped a lot and there were birds around but it takes a few days to get where to be as they move around and what kind of shots work best.

My wife was not happy how much dust you get from the roads there in her car, her enlightening words were my jeep next year.

Met Kissimmee Jimmy doing his machine gun flight shooting which is an art that he is real good at, also heard about his trip to Australia.

Thanks Gus it looks like you had a great time on your expedition down on South Beach with the posse. We are getting snow today and I'm real depressed to see palm trees. The only glimmer of hope I have this winter as we are looking for an owl invasion as Northern Hawk Owls have been showing up in Minnesota this week so we are not far behind.
