Congratulations Fred J. Lord!
Green River Overlook Sunset, Canyonlands, UT
Approximately 11 vertical frames stitched for this one. Canon 1D MKIII, 24-105 @ 45mm, ISO 200, f/5.6 @ .3 second, Gitzo 1325, Kirk BH-1, RRS pano pieces.
White Rim Trail is visible running around the lower canyon edge. This one made me nervous as it was a 1500-foot drop from where I was standing.

It's always fun to get some recognition. I also got a showing at a local gallery here in the Colorado Rockies. This will be one of my large canvas prints.

Thanks to you Alfred and to all the others kind enough to comment. I am ordering the large canvas this week. We will see how it looks when it comes back. The file is around 25K pixels wide. I have extended the sky just a bit more since CS4 has come out with "Content-aware scale". It's a marvelous tool to correct the keystone shapes in stitching large images.
