This one is from January, but is my favorite of this series. It has better wing position and bird separation than my more recent posting that was acquired this week. I actually thought I had missed this shot, and was nicely surprised to find it upon downloading.

I like it so much I'm considering photoshopping in a sharp, focused full moon, with full disclosure of course. I've not done that before, so I'm interested in other opinions.

I have nothing against ps in a moon. However, it might not look right. If you compare the two, you might like this one better. Let us know if you try it.

I like the o-o-f moon. I would expand canvas right and move the moon there for a more balanced COMP. EXP is good and sharpness looks OK. I would greatly prefer the wings either in the full up position or in the full downstroke.

For an image like this I prefer an OOF moon. Leave it as is, but I like Artie's idea of moving it after expanding the canvas...it should be an easy job to do :-)

I like this image more than the last post too. Love the oof moon, and would not change that. I like Artie's idea too, and it will improve this already wonderful image..

Great details, similar wing positions and the moon adds a lot. I agree regarding a slightly wider crop.

WOW ! I prefer this one to your previous post ! If you wish to expand canvas , here's an article discovered yesterday by browsing another forum ( PPN ) http://www.photomigrations.com/articles/0810400.htm

David,
This one looks better than the previous post. I agree with the suggestion that the full upwards wing position or full down would have been better. Howver, I like this one with the out of focus moon. I feel it is better this way, than photoshopping.

Cheers,
