Lovely pose, light and BG, Darren. Only pity are the stalks in front of the bird but it would take a lot of luck to have him land on the nearest one.

Nice pose with a clean background and a good head angle. Using fill flash would have opened up the eye and added a nice catchlight. This would have improved the eye contact with your subject.

Beautifully composed with soft colors. Agree a bit of FF would have made it even better.

Unfortunately joel fill flash makes the white feathers on these guys stick out and looks unnatural.

These are such awsome birds. I'd like to get some myself. They will be migrating through my area in late fall, early winter. Excellent shot; have to agree about the fore-ground twigs. All else is splendid. :-)

Lovely, as presented, in my opinion. Very natural looking.

Great pose, details and BG. Too bad about the grass covering part of the bird.

Lovely pose, nice soft light, sharp detail, and pretty color throughout the image. The weeds add nice texture and interest, but I do wish parts of the weeds were not intersecting with the bird. Still, a very nice image.
