Sometimes these Pied Kingfishers would sit quite content and just leave their catch in their beaks for quite a while. Then they would shake it about, before going down the hatch.

Great details, BG and the fish adds to it. I wish for a slight head turn toward you and wish the shadow were not crossing the perch and tail. Maybe a slightly higher color temperature?
