Here's part II of my wing flap series. I photographed this bird yesterday and was very pleased with the head angle and wing position. I spent the afternoon with BPN member Walt Anderson (of Better Beamer fame), who is out for the Festival of the Cranes at Bosque del Apache NWR. We had great time.

Cool wing flap and details. I might do some curve work on the bird.

For me it's perfect Doug as is anything you post, but Axel may be right on this one, great timing.

Great pose and nice light and colors! There are some hot whites there that could be easily recovered, congratulations!

Great pose and head angle. Not too sure about any hot whites... Is this on the left side of the bridge? Say "Hi" to Walt for me. Is he speaking or selling beamers?

Walt is here on pleasure, not business, as far as I know. This image was shot at the Albuquerque Biopark in the area between the gazebo and the amphitheater; there is no bridge (were you thinking NM Tech?). I'll be seeing Walt this weekend and I'll pass along your greetings Artie.

BTW, the whites look pretty good on my monitor too.

Hey Doug, Yes, I was thinking NM Tech. Have fun with Walt. Will probably see you soon.
