I need to thank my buddy Eric Dumigan as we were out scouting Amherst just over 2 years ago when I was getting started in bird photography. He spotted this bird well off the side road that we were on, and both of us were able to hike out for a closer look.

thanks for looking, take good care.

Hey Raymond,

Beautiful habitat and mood, would love tho have something like this!!

It may need a bit of CCW rotation?

This is a very nice composition and habitat image. I wouldn't do a thing to it.

A beauty! I would see what it looks like with fabs suggestion, other than that I can't think of anything. Excellent!!!

Wonderful image. The falling snow with the dark bg really sets the mood, and the composition is great. Really lovely!

thanks everyone.. I had a touch time editing this shot, the original raw file is very very flat, and some levels adjustments helped a great deal. The thing that bugs me is that after 2 years since I took this one, I can improve on the original edit., I guess my lack of PS knowledge has come back to haunt me!

take care.
