Very nice capture. They are so common but seem to be camera shy for me. This has a very pleasing complementary background and I like the slight head raise.

Great Job Francis, for me the art is to show even a very common bird in a beautiful fashion and you are succesful here.

I like the soft light, details, perch and BG. The right part of the eye looks a bit odd on my monitor.

You handled this image beautifully. Lighting, backround, positioning etc is very nice. Good job!

Hi Francis. I love the gnarly perch and the BG. Perect pose too. I do find a bit of a reddish cast that gives the jay a purplish look to it. I used color balance to reduced the reds here and upped the saturation on the blues to give the jay a look like I'm familiar with. I also gave the eye a quick fix...not the best, but better considering the low amount of pixels to work with.
