Valley Inn Drive Burlington, Ontario, Canada
D300 / 200-400 VR
1/800s f/4.0 at 330.0mm iso250

hand held, natural light, slight crop., added a little canvas to the left side.

This shot is not perfect sharp... backing up with the zoom while firing at 8fps will cause some blurr, but I was happy with a few of the frames., the backlight sure works well in certain conditions.

Thanks to James for encouraging me to post this one in here.

This is outstanding Ray and I'm happy you posted this I love the lighting as it amplifies the water being kicked up by the Swan and the surrounding bg
sets the mood. This is very nice......:)

Love it. The backlighting is awesome. The action you have captured is intense. Combined, they make this an incredibly exciting image. I'd be proud of this one.

Cheers.

Sweet job on the exposure and great action captured. Love the simmetry and the almost b/W look of this image. Excelent job Ray

Nice shot Ray. I would crop the bottom off as I find the reflection is not enhancing the overall shot and add a bit more splash to the top. This also keeps my focus on the bird which is dramatic with the water splash.
