Well this is officially the first flight shot for the coming duck season here locally although the numbers are low they
will increase in the coming weeks as I have seen many of the species that stay here for the winter....

What's amazing about this shot is how quickly Jim picked it up, focused on it, and got the shot. I was about six feet to his right and could not acquire this bird. Too fast.

Great shot Jim! Looks even better than it did in-camera. The lighting and wing position really work in this shot.

BTW - how did you get him to smile for you???:D
