Liked the autumn colours. Light looks pretty harsh though. How about a pano crop with just the reflection, boat and the vegetation...? Just my thoughts :)

Agree on cropping to take the horizon off center. The boat is a nice touch.

Hi Pat,
I tried exploring a few crops to get the horizon more off center.....and I didn't find one I totally loved.......but cropping a lot of the sky reflection out of the water seemed to work best. Judging by the shadows.........it doesn't look like the time of day was that bad...so possibly toning down some of the contrast would help.

I agree with others about possibly going to more of a pano format. In a situation like this and if one has more length in lens, shooting the boats/canoes as they floats over the reflection might be interesting too? Just a thought... :)

Pat,

In addition to the suggestions above, try a Color Selection adjustment and increase the black in the Cyan and Blue- possibly White colors. This will make the sky more pleasing and not so cyan.
