I want to print on canvas -- lots of large picturues for a new home. Can someone suggest a lab that does a good job? And, has anyone found that printing color on canvas comes out different hue than on paper?

I just had some canvas prints made by Canvas on Demand and am happy with their work.

Canvas paper can be warm or cool with lower D-Max. I would highly suggest downloading the companies ICC profiles for proofing.

FYI- check out www.breathingcolor.com (http://www.breathingcolor.com) for canvas if you want to make the prints yourself.

Best,

Chas

I see no difference in color between prints made on Epson premium luster and waterproof canvas on my Epson 7800.

Hi: I have printed dozens of 11 x 81/2" photos on canvas which is difficult to find in Arizona, was getting my canvas from Office Max, now getting it from Office Depot. After drying I spray it with a fixative from Michaels.

No comparison to Epsom Lustre as it looks and feels like real canvas & does not require glass when framed. Have seen it without a frame and done on a stretcher type you see canvas stretched on when artists paint on it, then sides are pulled around the sides with top pulled over with a boxed corner.

Tom Vezo used to do them over 3 feet in size on stretched canvas and sold in "GallerieTubac"
