I'm trying to buy mats in larger wholesale quantities. I am interested in buying about 200-300 mats at a time. In searching the web, I came across Redi-Mat. They offer pricing about 1/3 to half less than buying retail at local arts & crafts stores. Has anyone ever heard of this company? If anyone has purchased from them, have you had a good experience? Is there a better, less expensive, more reliable mat/supply company you could recommend? Quality is more important than cost.

I have been getting all of my framing materials from :
www.framedestination.com (http://www.framedestination.com)

High quality, great prices, and excellent service.
They are geared toward photographers and are very helpful over the phone.

Matcutter.com is where i get mine. The 10 packs of achival are only like $69.00 for 12x18 windows with 18x24 outside.

If quality is most important go with the cotton mats as they are the standard for the industry by which all others are measured

8 ply is what i use and the depth is the reason

Not cheap but worth every penny when shown

also cotton is easier to clean than the alpha paper cover archival mats
