Finally Fall

Not sure if its global warming or just an off year but we still look more like summer than fall around the Midwest. This week the temperatures finally took a tumble and when I walked back to my car the other day I saw this being reflected back at me...FINALLY!!!

Al, it's not that bad...yet! It WAS down at the hard freeze mark for several mornings in a row but now we've rebounded nicely into the daytime temps of upper 60's, lower 70's.

True, we won't be harvesting any orange groves in weather like this but the maple trees are putting on a pretty nice show!

We have had snow already - I do not EVER recall seeing snow here in October - what IS going on here???
