I've always liked abstracts so recently I tried some with camera movements. These are trees in a snowy forest in northern Wisconsin. I increased the saturation and contrast and also applied a watercolor filter in Photoshop to give it a more painterly look.

Hey Susanne, The two abstract I've seen of your are wonderful. I love the soft transistion from the light to dark and the tree formations are great.

Fantastic, Susanne, you got the colors mixed in to perfection with the right contrast and colors.
Congratulations on a fine image. you can go up to 800 pixels on the longest side, with a weight of 145 kb :)

Thank you! I had the hardest time with resizing my images. When I had the right size in photoshop it was too big when I tried uploading here and had to go back twice until it was about 130-140 Kb.

Susanne, I have a short tutorial on how to size images for BPN in the DIgital Workflow Forum.

Wonderful. I'm going to have to give this a try, it is a very pleasing effect.
I would lessen the exposure on the bottom light areas but this is strictly a personal preference. The easy way to adjust it might be simply moving the white point lower.
Nicely done.
