Nice and close to the action here, Michael. You have some very hot whites which might benefit from reprocessing the RAW file with some highlight recovery and minus exposure if needed - may be a good candidate for Artie's linear burn trick to bring more detail into the whites. I would probably prefer a little less room above and little more below. Look forward to more in the series.

Welcome Michael! First, nice subject to start with! The light looks harsh and as Tony commented there are some hot whites, also the BG is a bit distracting and bussy, more room on the bottom would help. Congratulaitons!

Welcome to BPN Michael! Good advice from both Tony and Ramon! I would add that a slight head turn would be nice to give the beak a little separation from the body. Thanks for posting!
