I went back and spent another morning with these guys hoping to get some images of the chicks.

40D, 500 +1.4 TC, 1/2000 at f/7.1, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metered + 1/3, ISO 800, Flash -1 2/3, Raw, Tripod, ACR and CS3, Cleaned up the water and BG

Just one OUTSTANDING shot, light, ambient and BG, comp and detail are all Excellent! A little more room on the bottom and you've got yourself a KILLER shot! Congratulations!

Great work! The babies must be tiny :) I agree that this could use a little more room on the bottom.

Beautiful Shot Don and I too agree with everyone on adding more canvas to the bottom.

Wonderful shot under the circumstances Danny, didn't go back but maybe this week I will to check it out. I agree with everyone about the bottom but otherwise just great.

You don't need to go back...I don't think you can top this wonderful shot! Love the soft light, low perspective, sharp detail and that GORGEOUS water. And if that weren't enough, the pose is perfect and the subject is just too cute. Wonderful all around. Wish it were mine!

I agree with all that has been said. Love the lighting. And, I agree there should be a tad bit more room at the bottom. Congrats. ;-)

Nice composition, color, good that you included the reflection and left a lot of room around the bird.

That´s a great light and low perspective. I miss some more room at the bottom of the image and just a little touch of additional contrast. Very good job Don
