Grasshopper on a dried teasel - Yakima River Valley, Washington. 100% crop. I was taking flora shots waiting for an osprey to show up, and discovered the grasshopper after the fact.:)

Hi Terry, The dried teasels make good subjects themselves - the grasshopper futher enhances the composition! Personally I think the single teasel in a vertical format works best for me.

Hey Terry, very cool image, I like the diagonal line of the three teasels and the nice dark BG. On my screen the hopper is a tad hot. Just a little tweak in PS to darken. I would also do a slight crop on top and right side.

Hi Terry - great image! I agree with the previous comments - at least take off the little piece creeping into the image in the lower left. Nice capture!
