This was a little tricky it was very late, about 5 minutes from sunset, but the light was superb

This is a challenging image, Loukie. I like the sweep of the wings and tail and open beak. I am at work on an uncalibrated monitor but it seems to have a yellow/green cast. Some noise/posterisation/loss of detail in dark areas ?due to shadow/highlight - may have benefited from some + exposure compensation/fill flash to keep detail in the dark tones

Ditto Tony. In addition, there seems to be some clone marks below the perch. Wonderful job getting the light to hit the face.

Nice singing pose. I agree with the comments above. I might bring the ISO down to 400 as 1/640 is plenty fast enough to obtain sharp images.

Agree with Tony . Love the wonderful rich color and lighting in this image Loukie. What beautiful species and I can just imagine the thrill to capture this one. thanks for sharing.
