Sanibel Sunrise - S.W Florida
This one from Yesterday morning. As I was driving to Ding, I saw this sunrise getting stronger and stronger and had no other choice but to turn around the photograph from the bridge.
7 images stitched from RAW and sharpening. The colors are as they were!
Canon 40D, Sigma 24-70, 2 stop ND filter.
Thanks!

Your horizon does not have to be on a ROT line to make it ROT. The image's tonality is approximately divided in three horizontal areas.

Hi Rob,
That looks like the Liveview feature in my 40D :). I like it!
Thank for taking the time to do it!

Very informative for us beginners .Thank you Robert for taking the time to explain that.
Maxis, I like the colors in this shot. I especially like the moody sky.

Maxis,
When you were thinking about this image, what made you consider it more of a panorama than a traditional landscape? I'm just curious--I know that I thought it more a landscape, but know that all definitions are open to interpretation! :)

Hi David,
You bring a very interesting point. If you think about it, there is no much going on besides the strong clouds and powerful sun. Nothing really interesting in the FG. So I stopped for the second and thought about how can I make this work? Ahh!! Panorama!! :D
That's exactly what I thought.
Thanks for asking!
