Hi All, I created this image during our recent trip to Botswana - I liked the different posture - what do you think?

Canon EOS-1D Mark III; 1/2000 sec; f 5.6; Tv; ISO: 640; EF70-200mm f/4L IS USM +1.4x

Thanks ;)

What a terrific photograph. The pose, the colors, the wings and extremely sharp. Excellent work!

Very nice image. I like the posture. Nice separation between the eagle and the grasses. Nice job on the exposure.

Magnificiant capture. The EV on the white chest and sharpness in the beak, eye and talons is a good as it gets. I only wish you could have held a little detail under the wings.

Great pose and setting, the eye contact adds to it. The light looks a bit harsh and there is some noise in the underwing areas. I find the composition a bit too centered.

Close to perfection! Love the colour, sharpness and comp. There's a little bit of noise in the underexposed underwing, but does not detract from a fabulous image.

I like this different pose and the image is very sharp. Love the grasses below. I would prefer the bird more to the left in the frame, but this is a lovely image.

Great shot, Albert, really like that head position. Is there a reason you used Tv mode? Nice to see you posting again.

Thanks for the comments folks!! Tony I've started experimenting with Tv mode and ISO safety shift enabled.... almost like auto iso on your Nikon and it works pretty well - secures your shutter speed and when there's enough light you get an even higher f-stop ;-)
