Congratulations to Bob Blanchard. His amazing White Morph image has been nominated top 10 in the Canon Photography in the Parks Photo Contest.

I will say something that I think is important here regarding this particular image: I captured this just after the Spring IPT....USING TECHNIQUES TAUGHT IN THE IPT! Had I not gone to that IPT, I seriously doubt that I'd have properly captured this image. Thanks Artie!

While there's still a still a significant competition in front of it (I'm sure the other nine images are outstanding ones), I'm definitely honored to be recognized at this level.

Needless to say, I was blown away when I got that call.

The voting has begun! The competition is definitely formidable, but I'm the only avian photographer in the bunch so that has to be worth something.....right? ;)
