I saw these two leaves lying on a downed tree while walking through the woods yesterday. It amazes me that I found them next to each other in the same position with one edge flapped over the body of each leaf.

Stuff like this just blows my mind. :D

Well seen & captured Julie.
Nice use of flash too. Too bad that this was hand-held (& u already have as low as 1/40 sec) - else perhaps some more DOF wud do good...?

Nice idea Julie.

Next time if you would like to get of the dark shadows, some people seem to like them, you can use a sheet of paper over the flash or use a hand held diffuser over the flash.

I had a diffuser with me, Robert...now why didn't I think to use it? Beats me...
