This one is from Iceland last june. STL workshop by Charles Glatzer and we had a blast with the divers. I've posted it on other sites as well but maybe you guys/gals would like to have a look at it as well.

Mk3, 700mm, f/7.1, ISO 400, 1/1250s, manual exposure

Big welcome to BPN, Dennis and an awesome first post !

Beautiful light, great flight angle, excellent wing position, and sharp detail !
And the way the wing tip almost touches the water puts it over the top for me.

Congrats !

Welcome to BPN. Wonderful first post. I love the wing stretch. Nice and sharp. The whites behind the wing look a bit hot though.

Wellcome on board Dennis. I like this loon a lot. The light couldn´t be better and the wing down stroke is pervect. very good eye contac and nice BG. Please, can you post the technical details of the image? Keep them coming:)

Here's another big welcome to BPN!! Excellent photograph, Dennis. I'm sure the eye looks great full-size, but for web presentation I would give it some small tweaking to make the pupil and outer dark edge more visible. Otherwise this is fantastic :-)
