Here's one taken last summer at a nearby marsh.
20D, 70-200 f4, 1/1600 @ 6.3, ISO 400.

Josh! It's awesome to have you here on BPN! I remember seeing one of your first posted images a while back ;) Now you're photographing dragonflys in flight?? This is great! I like the background and composition. Your subject is very sharp and has a lot of fine detail. Next time try slowing down the shutter speed a bit and pan with the dragonfly... I think you might like the result :)

Not an easy capture at all. Darners are one of those species that doesn't do a lot of hovering in place unless it's quite cool out, and this is a very good catch. Lighting is excellent, BG is great, comp also.

Wow, quite a catch, and the whole body in focus, I can't wait for next summer to try my luck with my Canon 40D.
