Little Bittern

I found this image in my archive from two years ago. I created it at a bird sanctuary near my home in Johannesburg. I remember how thrilled I was to finally get one of these elusive little herons in flight.

Hey Chris,

I really like the nice blue Bg and the warm light but the sharpness isnt at your normal standards, is it a large crop maybe?

Also I would much prefer if the bittern was flying parallel or at your camera.

Agree with Robert here, but I also understand what it's like to photograph nemesis birds in flight. You take what you get.

Yup must agree guys, I think the crop was just a bit too big:-)
