This was one of the very first landscape photos that I took with a dSLR, just about 18 months ago. At that time, I didn't know about polarizers or grads or foregrounds or anchors. However, this image has always been a favorite of mine.
It was early Spring in Zion. The cottonwoods were just getting their first leaves. The place was glowing. I had been working on making a photo of the Three Patriarchs. For no particular reason, I walked across the road and stumbled into this view.
