At 5:30 AM (in total darkness) I went to a place where I expect to see the wild flamingos when the dawn comes an positioned myself with a camouflage cover. I have a great chance to take some really wonderfull photos of their natural behaviour.

08:12 AM, Mark II N, Sigma 300-800mm f/5.6 @650mm, f9, 1/320sec, ISO 640, manual mode.
Tripod: Gitzo GT3530LSV, Wimberley II, Remote switch, no MLU. Lying on the ground. Kirkini lake.

Excellent photograph! Great behaviour captured and although it does look a tad soft due to subject movement I like it a lot!

Quite lovely. The light and behavior are magical. If select the eyes with a QM and darken them, it would increase the apparrent shaprness.

Excellent!!
Loved this shot very much for its low angle perspective and being a behaviorial shot.
I too feel its a little bit soft and need to be sharpen a little in the head portion.

A littlev more shutter speed would've been grreat, but as presentyed it looks terrific! All has benn said already! Congratulaitons!

Beautiful Nikolay. Action and the softlight is super.

Agree some selective USM on the face and eye would make the image even better.

Magic light for sure and terrific low angle. the action is good and I agree about another round of USM on the heads. Fantastic image!

thank you for the comments and suggestions! I will soon go back to this place with a canon prime lens to rephoto the moments with more speed and less apertures :)
