Hi Paul,
you have got the bird in a grat pose! Good sharpness an exposure too.
I just mind that there is the shadow on the eye.

You did catch a great pose. On my monitor there are some burned out areas on the gulls chest. I do like the crop and the green background. I would ry to lighten the shadow in the eye.

You have some strong contrast in this image, I wish for a little more head turn toward you to prevent the strong shadows. The colors, BG and expression are great!
