100mm macro lens
25mm extension tube
f/11
ISO 100
1/13 s
+1/3 EV
twin lite macro lite set to 1/4 power
covered with nylon to diffuse the light

Cropped a little form the original
Shadows and Highlights and a little sharpening.
Didn't set black point or white point because there was a little clipping of the blacks already.
Took me a long time to get this shot. The focus is actually on the eyes of the spider.
The whites look a little blown on the spiders back but they aren't, maybe something happens in the compression. I am not sure.

Thanks to everyone in the ETL forum who take the time to view and critique images I share this honour with you. Especially to Gus and Al who are both so encouraging and who take time to write something about every post (even in very diplomatic way sometimes:).
We are all working so hard to improve and we really do it together.
