I shot this in the woods last weekend. The leaves were in the shade however the sun was shining on the foliage behind the leaves. I thought it made for a nice combination. Shot with a Canon 5D, and a Canon 28-300 Lens. The Aperature was 5.6, shutter 1/90, and an ISO of 100.

Gordon,
Quite eye-catching; vivid colors, and a nice arrangement. I think it would benefit from more contrast, to help separate the leaves from the BG, and some sharpening of the leaves to bring out the detail.

Very nice composition Gordon, I like the simplicity of it. Also like the punched up vibrant hues of the repost...

I too like the re post. To me the water drop and the colors of the leaves complemented by the BG make the image. Well seen and well captured.

This image is just great Gordan, the comp, colors, and subjects all work well.

Chris' repost is better, better color and contrast, a little oversharpened for me but still better.

Beautifully seen, Gordon! I personally think the crop is just a bit tight. I'd add a small bit to the right side and bottom so the leaves don't feel like they are rubbing up against the edge of the frame.

What a gorgeous shot. Ditto Julie's comment about the tight crop. I like the repost. I would print that one large and hang it on the wall... Well done!
