I maintain a pretty low profile here and in general life itself. I figured if I didn't toot my horn somewhere I would be drinking this celebratory beer alone because I don't have any name recognition.
Natures Best Magazine just notified me that 2 of my images in different categories have been selected as highly honored and will be in next months award issue.
I hope this does not come across wrong. I only personally know one other photographer in the whole world so I had to share my news with 'someone" with like interests.
Thanks to the members and staff here at BPN that make this such a wonderful learning place.

Congratulations!
A tree laden with fruit bends down - as per an old Indian saying. However, these days blowing your horn is referred to as marketing yourself. I think ultimately, in the long run things get even.
Would you mind sharing those pictures?
Cheers,
Sabyasachi

The one in the animal antics category. With the insightful suggestions I got with this post I reworked it from scratch.

Excellent! congratulations. This gives a glimmer of hope to all of us. I'm sure this is well deserved. I don't know you personally- but accomplishments like this usually follow alot of grunt work. Once again congratulations on this honor I look forward to seeing the magazine edition.

Stellar image Mike and worthy of a win. You know I remember the Heron image from the space coast festival. Two in the mag is great. Well done.
No problem tooting your own horn either.
