Hi Chris,

This is a pretty moody photo. I'm not sure the dark tail on dark BG plus the really bright head and tree trunk is working for me though. It will be interesting to hear what others say.

Hi Chris! This one just isn't working for me. The view of the bird's posterior is less than ideal, as is the head angle. As Jim points out, the head is a little too bright. Also, the strong diagonal of the tree makes me want to turn my head to straighten it out.

I should listen to my son.He said. "Dad I don't like that picture. It's weird." Often the pictures we like don't work. I liked this picture for its moodiness and the rear view as I have lots of pictures with the front view and this was different. Obviously too different. Sometimes its best to stick with the tried and true. Thanks for the input it is truly appreciated.
