I rarely shot some birds and this is perhaps the first time a shot a bird in flight. Yes, I know it'better to preview the moving of the bird and have some room in front of it (Arthur). Yes it's a very quick moving bird.
Nikkor 300 f4 duplicator x2 f8 1/1250 shutter priority spot in posttreatment > saturation

HI Valerio,

I think the idea was to photograph the bird before taking off. You missed the bird by seconds. Your exposure looks a little hot with very little details in the whites. I also notice several dust spots, which can be removed in photoshop. Healing tool can help you with that.

Next time try to react a little faster and watch your subject behavior.

Valerio, I think this was a miss. With fast moving subjects, you almost have to anticipate the movement, and here, you were too late. The bird is not sharp enough, and the bird's wing is clipped as he leaves the frame. Dust spots were mentioned by Maxis. Keep trying, and with practice, you will capture small birds in flight.
