Double-Barred finch

Hi all,
I was very lucky that day where this beautiful bird landed about 2 metres from me, but stayed on the perch less than 1 seconde !
I fired a burst of 4 images, but only two photos had the bird in the frame !!
Here's one of them :

I like the image, but I find the BG to the right distracting and the BG to the left excessive. I think it would work better with a vertical crop.

I'm loving seeing all these Auz birds. Keep them coming!

As for this image I would crop it to a vertical. The comp is fine as is but the OOF areas on each side of the image are a distraction to me.

Definitely, the vertical crop is the way to go !
I'll try on the RAW file...
