What a shot! Nothing to pick on; great framing, lighting, DOF, etc. Makes me really glad these things are only a few inches long. This one looks like it's about to taste your lens.

Very nice! I think you got more focus on the mouth than the eyes but at f16 it's enough to make it a strong image anyway! If anything, I'd give it just a hair more room at the bottom for that elbow joint to be in the image.

Excellent capture Michael.
Its tack sharp, with excellent color rendition, the placement of your subject in frame is just perfect...good show...:cool:

Great shot. These are not easy to photograph! I love the BG and you got both its' antennae in the frame!

Thanks everyone. When I saw the background through the viewfinder I said "oh wow" out loud :D At this point I'm not sure what the background would look like if it were in focus but it hasn't been altered.
(boink) my single memory cell just fired. I took that shot almost pointed straight up into the late afternoon / early evening sky.

It's funny how shooting macro tends to force a person to look at the detail of the shot at a higher level than normal.
