awesome compo!! love the howling pose! these guys were fun. i see you bumped up the ISO to get some shutter speed! it was dark in there!! might would tone the whites down a little.

it was great to finally meet you and your wife yesterday!! and i think i looked like you when we finally left at 4:30!!!

Hi Richard,
It was a pleasure seeing you and your wife at the zoo yesterday. We had a blast. I remember this one; a very fine habitat capture indeed. I like it. This composition has several possibilities; let me show you another view...I took the liberty in making a few changes to illustrate my point. I cropped from all four corners of the frame, increased the saturation and contrast just a tad, blurred the leaves in the background, and selective sharpened the face and eyes on our friend the monkey. see if you like this; you can even crop tighter on the monkey if you wish...good show Richard...you did well...

I had a great time too as always is a lot of fun shooting with you guys, I like the comp, pose, very detailed I tend to post my images to dark, so I also find this one a little light.

I can see that I shall have to start posting some zoo pictures ....:cool:
Actually I think that I prefer the original crop - either that or go in much tighter.

Nicki

I wasn't sure if a tight crop didn't show enough habitat, but I like the crop too. Thanks for the comments!

Think I like the blurring of the BG and crop in Gus's repost. Great title, brought a big smile to my face when I saw this one. I can imagine him singing an Italian opera:)

Nicely done - the last repost is the pick for me. Nice pose and like the increase in the saturation. :) :)
