Thank´s Alfred! you make my happy with your nice comment! I don´t have one with the wings fully extended or other head angle!
The spring in the middle of Sweden makes this blue water och nice lightning, it´s the best time to photograph birds over here! We have 1% max of your bird population here!:)

Wonderful. The pose and light are incredible, and the BKGD looks like a painting. The loon's head does look a tad soft, but otherwise a great image.

I like it. Yes a bird with an attitude. It would be even better with the wings really up. Is it from the favourite place for them, in north-western Västmanland? I havn't been there for some years, just once since I went digital. When I see this I know I have to go there this spring.

All the best,

Brutus

Thank´s Brutus! I have a picture with the wings in the position you wanted, but i choose this one instead! No i know that was a misstake:)
It´s not from Knuthöjdsmossen in Hällefors! It´s from a pond outside Falun.
I was in Hällefors also this year, it was amazing with sunshine and fog in the morning! You have to go there in the spring! Short distance to the birds there!

I got you signed book yesterday! Thank´s alot! i love it!

Just beautiful! The low angle and having a good angle to pick up the colors in the neck are great! Congrats!
