Grady, thanks for the Link. I'm arriving in Portland on 10/16 and will be in Maine until 10/20. I'm staying 3 days in Acadia/Bar Harbor and 1 Day in Portland. Looking to shoot the lights (Portland Head, Cape Elizabeth, Bug, Nednick, Pemaquid, Rockland, Port Clyde, Bass Harbor, West Quoddy (time permitting), plus looking to nice foliage shots. When I was there a decade ago, I fell in love with the colors around Pemaquid area and Camden Maine and Boothbay. Any suggestions for nice scenics outside Acadia?

Michael,

If you can get those lights and Acadia, you wont have time for anything else in just 4 days! :D

Bar Harbor Whale Watch runs a lighthouse boat trip that takes you to five lights around Acadia - Bear Island, Baker Island, Winter Harbor, and Egg Rock (and one other whose name escapes me right now). They do a good job of getting you close so can get good images of all save Baker Island. Of course being on a boat, I can't guarantee the light will be perfect but they do try to get the boat in the best position. Just a thought.
