It's gettinmg more dificult every time to find a picture with the right conditions. Espacialy here in Holland.

Olympus E3, Zuiko ED300 F2.8, Zuiko 2.0 converter, 600mm focuslebgth, 1/800sec, F8, ISO250, -0.3 stop, Frome my own hide out:cool:

HI Alexander,

Love the colors and amazing BG. I only wish for a better head angle and perhaps some fill flash to take care of the shadows. Composition works for me very well!

Thanx Maxim. I rather not work with flashes on the birds at my hide-out. and I realy like to work with natural light insted. I am a fan of nicely composed shadowparts as long it gives the subject extra value bud that is a question of personel taste I geuss;) The head angel gave the bird a little bit of a Al Capone Look so I didn't wanted to chance that eather. Next time I'lle bring you a Kingfisher the way I"ll think you like it:D;)

I to wished the head wasn't in the shadows but still a beautiful image love them colors.

Beautiful shot, Alexander. I like the detail, pose and background a lot.
