Rocky Mountain National Park

This is one of my favorite photographs from my recent trip to Colorado. I was wandering off-trail and following the Siren's call up, up, up the mountain. What a pleasant find at just under 11,000 ft on a darn windy morning. I just love the high elevations of the park...

Hey Judd,
Really nice find. Debating the clipped rock on the LR.........but you used the color of the FG bushes very well and the rocks add a nice element as well. Very nicely done.

stunning shot. You must have great lungs Judd. Those high altitudes get to me. I run out of air after 4 steps.

Well done Judd. Great use of a FG element supporting the peaks in the BG. I am reading one of Tim Fitzharris' books right now and reminds me of an image in it.

I can see why you like the high altitudes so much. A stunning view and well captured. The contrasting colors of the reds, blue sky and the snow on the far background mountain is what makes this one for me.
