This guy is very busy right now near the Madison River. I met fellow Bpn'er John Blumenkamp out there this morning right after this guy was strutting his stuff. I have a full lit side view.....but i like the way his antlers are separated in this angle. Canon Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm at 800mm and ISO 800 at f10 and 1/640 sec.
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated

Nice shot! I like the light and also agree about the seperation of the antlers.

Wow look at that bull...

I like the image a lot. It has everything but not to much. Good light, nice comp and a high amount of sharpness and details...

Cheers // Johannes

You got him good Roman. Nice IQ from that Sigma lens.

Beautiful image...I just can't believe you put him smack dab in the center! Maybe push him a bit to the right and let those antlers have the left side of the screen???

Beautiful lighting BTW. You must be in hog heaven.

Hi Roman,
Great pose, nice healthy subject, and I like the subtle layering of the BG. A nice, simple image. Would expect you to crop a bit tighter though :)

Nice light and contrast. Looks 3D coming out of that BG! I agree about taking him slightly to the right.

Hey Roman... I have internet access! I'll drop you a PM shortly, but just wanted to leave you a short note here to say this is a great capture of this active guy down on the Madison. I really like the head turn, and he looks fantastic in this image and how you caught him against the grassy background. Hope you and your group are having a blast.
