I like the position of the elk just fine - interesting pose makes for an interesting image. The FG grasses to the BG trees provide a nice layer of colors that contrast well but do not compete with the elf.

You are keeping me busy Steve. I am getting the impression you are living close enough to RMNP to make a day trip there. Is that true?

Steve, I also like the placement and the overall earth tones. Seeing all four legs is a big plus. Nice image!
Best, Howard

Howard, thanks for the look and comments.

Robert, I'm just trying to help you boost your posts to the 5,000 benchmark :) Hopefully you're finding less things to critique the more I post. I do appreciate your comments and suggestions. And yes, you're correct about my proximity to RMNP, I'm a 2-3 hr drive away (depending on traffic).

I actually like the head angle in this shot. I also like the comp as well. I do not know if it is the line in the background, but it could use just a little rotation.

Thanks for the look Dan. There was a slight left/right hill going on here. I eyeballed the legs for leveling but may have to pull out the leveling grid.
