I really like the eyes. They are very sharp and the color stands out well. I would wish for a smoother BG, but you cant always control that. OTOH, it does show a good illustration of the natural environment.

I like it too, very cool head-on flight image! May work great as a pano too by cropping some at top and bottom and adding some canvas a bit on each side. Not too crazy about the frame though...

Agree with Ed, the eye contact is very nice, and the habitat in the BG is good also. I like it a lot.

Maybe just a little more room on each side would be good to give the wing tips more room.

Agree with the others - tiny bit more room on both ends by the wings would help. It's a visually exciting image, Alexander. You literally have to pull your eyes away from his!

I love the background! I like the fact that the owl's body and wings are on a slight diagonal within the frame. I see no problem with the framing (I like the fact that the owl is as large as possible in the frame without cutting off the wingtips). Well done!!

Great light and incoming pose. It looks as if you blurred the BG unevenly, which I find a bit distracting. Might also work as pano crop.

Superb headon image! Those eyes are so intense and eerie. I would do it more as a pano. Feel kinda wierd about the big space above and below the owl.
