Hi Bill,

This is gorgeous and very unique. I wish the tail was not touching te tree but love everything about it. !!

It's great as it is. Could you have moved a bit to your right? I think you could have easily gone to ISO 400 in this light.

The over-all exposure is very well done. Looks to have been metered well (what mode were you in?). Bright skies are always difficult to expose well with the main subject: handled well. Over-all composition is good. Agree about the ISO; 400 even 250 might be acceptable given the amount of light. ;) Well done. :):) I noticed that the Eastern race of this bird is more palid than the Western. See my post 25/09/2008 of Western race;)

Hi Bill, great to put a face to the name!! :-) I only wish for a better head angle on the left bird (and the right one too but not as much). Overall very nice. Good sharpness on both birds...f/10 was a perfect choice!

Love the alert pose of both the hawks and the great eye contact. Really good exposure Bill and composition. Excellent work and thanks for sharing.

Congratulations Bill on one fine composition, image and capture...The details are razor sharp, color rendition is very good, and the baby blue sky compliments your subjects very well...good show...
